Weber grills’ quality is indisputable, and the Spirit E330 is no different. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of this grill is its massive heating capacity, which is what has made many Weber grills dot so many backyards, from one coast to the other in the United States. The Weber does give stellar, consistent results because Weber designs its grills with one thing on their mind; the avid grilling enthusiast.

How intense is its heating capability?

If grilling that rib eye steak to perfection is what floats your boat then the  Weber E330 is a steak grilling powerhouse. Top of the list, of course, is the presence of a 7,500 BTU internal sear burner, that lifts the grills overall power to give your steaks that intense heat that perfects them. It is not an infrared searing burner but does do a fine job of it.

The three primary stainless steel tubular propane burners supply 10,667 BTU each while a side burner integrated into the left work shelf supplies 12,000 BTU. This side burner is perfect for warming your marinades as you grill or making some delicate side dish as you await your steaks. This grill also isn’t  available in natural gas.

How much grilling space does it have?

We love the amount of grill space this grill monster avails; a whole  529 square inches of it.  It has black porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates backed by the famous Weber porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars. If you have a hungry household, you can easily fit about 20 burgers on its main grill. What more can you ask for?

The Flavorizer bars are the silver bullet that moves that perfectly seared steak from great to excellent. Their purpose is to catch all the flavorful drippings from the meat, then vaporize them to produce excellent smoky flavors that infuse back into the meat, making it finger licking good. One wise thing about the flavourizer’s design is that there is enough ventilation, to ensure that you do not gasp for air every time you open up the lid.

How about its looks?

The Weber E-330 is like most Weber grills artfully designed with a hood made of porcelain enameled steel and stainless steel work surfaces with cast aluminum end caps. There are built-in hooks for your grilling utensils and other accessories.  The whole grill rests on two locking casters and two other swivel ones, for mobility when there is a need, and secure motionlessness when grilling.

The grill has painted cabinet doors as well as a grease tray plus catch pan to catch what is left of the drip savory liquids from the flavourizers. Its battery powered ignition system is started with a push button, and it takes between 10 to 15 minutes to have it at the 500-degree mark.

You will its fuel gauge feature that is designed to warn you when you are low, to ensure that the fuel does not run out just when you are about sear those steaks to perfection.

The Weber brand utilizes robust steel construction that makes their grills durable. You can never go wrong with a Weber, and the advantages are numerous. Excellent food, impressive grills space, potent heating capabilities and artful designs. Furthermore, their 52 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 45 ½ inch height footprint makes them the perfect size for most patios or indoor decks. Keep them covered while not in use if you love them!

  • Presence of a searing station
  • Presence of a warming station
  • Easier to clean porcelain coated grates
  • Large grill area
  • Presence of a flavourizer system
  • Powerful burners for even cooking
  • Easy to assemble

  • Complaints of grates rusting over time
  • Hook in grill a bit awkward to use

It is a bit pricey, but this grill does deliver, especially to grill masters focused on serving the perfectly done and seared steak. It has loads of grilling room and has a warming station versatile enough to allow you make side dishes on it easily. With its sturdy Weber and great Weber warranty though it is worth that extra dollar.

My dad is a true mans man, and has owned a number of grills. Ranging from gas to charcoal. Growing up with him allowed me to see what different types of rubs, spices, brines, etc went into making the best BBQ. Although my dad was a truck driver, and I had a degree in Information Technology I knew that I wanted to do something about grilling and our recipes.  That’s where Barbeque Smoked comes in.
